Myla is the face of The Cottage Pharmacy, and she brings a wealth of international and local experience to our team. She has worked overseas as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a manufacturing company and as a Regulatory Pharmacist within a medical distribution company, developing strong expertise in compliance, safety and quality systems.
With over 20 years of experience in community pharmacy in Australia, Myla has specialised in a broad range of health services including health screening, vaccination, bone density testing, diabetes management and sleep apnoea management. Her growing interest in dermatology and women’s health naturally led her to oversee the compounding of HRT, dermatological and cosmeceutical products at The Cottage Pharmacy.
Myla is also eager to further expand her knowledge in veterinary compounding to better support local veterinary clinics and pet owners within the community.
Outside of work, Myla enjoys gardening and cooking for her family. She is passionate about giving back to her home country, helping organise sponsorships for underprivileged children and supporting families in learning how to achieve greater financial independence.
Our pharmacists are passionate about providing the highest level of customised care to each patient. For every compound, we complete a risk assessment analysis and take the time to obtain detailed information from the patient or their carer. We work closely with patients and their prescribing doctor to find solutions to give the best possible therapeutic outcomes.
